popstrology
in my new yorker today was an article about this guy, Ian Van Tuyl, who invented the study of and wrote a book on POPSTROLOGY. on the website popstrology is defined as "The science of the pop stars -- A revolutionary method for gaining self-knowledge by examining the alignment of the pop music charts at the moment of your birth."
this is right up my alley!
the guy has also invented new constellations. some examples are, "reganrock, " mustache rock"(i sure hope ajax was born under that sign), and "teen idol."
so i looked up my birthstar birthsong, which you can do on the website. i nearly died when i got my result. my birthsong is "Let It Be" by the Beatles. now, for all of you who know me, that could not be more perfect. my birthsong made sense, but does it make sense for others? i took the liberty of looking up misty's* birthsong. her's is "Honky Tonk Women" by the Stones. uh, so dead on. then i looked up willo*. she came up as "Love Will Keep Us Together" by Captain and Tenille. YES!
so i am a "Let It Be" but my year was dominated by the Jackson 5! here is what they say about the Jackson 5 year. no wonder i am floundering.
*i think i got their year/birthdates right
